FAQ's:
Is there bus parking?
Yes, there is ample off-street bus parking at Bike Skills. We have over 4 designated bus car parks and over 120 car spots
Do children have somewhere to leave their bags?
Yes, we have a room reserved for the children where they will be able to leave their bags.
Can children have lunch on site?
Yes, children will have access to a room where they can sit down and eat their food.
Is there a cafe on the premises?
Yes, we have a cafe in the Bike Shop.
Do we need to supervise the children?
Yes, adults are required to supervise the children at all times. Parent helpers are more than welcome; however, we do ask that they do not bring younger siblings with them.
Does Bike Skills supply bikes and helmets?
We have bikes of all sizes and configurations available for use as well as helmets. Hair nets can also be provided if required.
Is there a required ratio of teachers to students?
As cycling is a sport that can be quite fast moving and children could be at different levels of their bike riding journey, we require a ratio of 1 teacher/parent supervisor per 10 children. This will ensure the safety of all those riding on the day and improve the flow of bikes.
Are scooters allowed?
Yes, scooters are permitted but children need to bring their own.
What happens if a child cannot ride?
Bike Skills are the leading provider of Learn to Ride Lessons in Australia. Over the years, we have taught over 2,500 children how to ride independently and confidently on 2 wheels. Prior to your visit, we would be happy to offer a discount of 15% to any children that may need our services to learn to ride. We will provide you with a discount code that you can pass on to the parents.
When do final numbers need to be confirmed?
Final numbers are required 3 days before the excursion.
How does your invoicing work?
Once final numbers have been confirmed, we will send you an invoice. Invoice payment is required within 7 days of the excursion.
